Terenure Manager

Maria is our Manager who has a degree in Social Care, a Post-Graduation in Management of Private Social Welfare Institutions. 

In Portugal, Maria worked in the development of Social projects with children as a social worker in the Child Protection Department and with the elderly as manager of a Residential Home. 

When Maria moved to Ireland from Portugal, she joined the Daisy Chain team in Stepaside and through her drive and leadership qualities she quickly moved up to the Assistant Manager position. 

She then transferred to the Terenure centre to take over as Manager. Maria enrolled and obtained her Diploma in Childcare and Supervision QQI level 6. She is also trained in Child Protection, Pediatric First Aid and Manual Handling.
