We at Daisy Chain ensure all equipment; fixtures and fittings comply with the safety standards. Within our nursery, it is the shared responsibility for all staff to ensure the children are kept safe within our service. 

A health and safety document is also on display in our hallways and working H&S risk assessments are in every area of our crèche which are followed closely by Staff and Management. 

Our recruitment, training and induction process ensures that our staff are more able to provide for and protect the children in their care. All our staff are trained and are equipped with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively where there is concern about the welfare of a child. 

All children are supervised at all times. 85% of our staff are first aid trained and this gets updated every two years. All staff are manual handling and food safety trained.
 
There are first aid boxes available in each room and in the case of an emergency we have a doctor on call.
